The Lapco ION/Impulse BigShot APEX Ready 8 inch. Do you want an extremely accurate barrel? Or do you want a barrel that can perform trick shots? Now players can get the best of both worlds. LAPCO has created what we're calling "Apex Ready" barrels. They've modified the classic one-piece barrel to create a barrel with the ability to mount an Apex Tip. Now for the first time players can combo the widely popular Apex Tip with the extremely accurate one piece barrels. We've tested these out and it actually gives the player more control over the various trick shots featuring increased ball movement. Remember you can always turn the Apex off and rely on the accuracy of a LAPCO Big Shot.

- The 8 inch BigShot Apex Ready Barrel is actually 7.5 inches long, un-installed on a marker and without a BT Apex Tip. Installed without the BT Apex Tip, 6 and 9/16 inches of barrel is showing on most markers.
- With the original BT Apex Tip, an 8 inch barrel will be 10 and 5/16 inches un-installed in a marker. The overall length when installed in most markers will be 9 and 3/8 inches. The exposed barrel measures 5 and 3/8 inches. The exposed barrel span before the porting measures 4 and 5/8 inches.
- With the Empire Apex 2 Tip, an 8 inch barrel will be 10.25 inches un-installed in a marker. The overall length when installed in most markers will be 9 and 3/8 inches. The exposed barrel measures 3 and 5/16 inches. The new Apex 2 tip design covers the barrel porting.
- The 12 inch BigShot Apex Ready Barrel is actually 11.75 inches long, un-installed on a marker and without a BT Apex Tip. Installed without the BT Apex Tip, 10 and 13/16 inches of barrel is showing on most markers.
- With the original BT Apex Tip, a 12 inch barrel will be 14.5 inches long, un-installed in a marker. The overall length when installed in most markers will be 13 and 9/16 inches. The exposed barrel measures 9 and 5/8 inches. The exposed barrel span before the porting measures 8 and 7/8 inches.
- With the Empire Apex 2 Tip, a 12 inch barrel will be 14.5 inches long, un-installed in a marker. The overall length when installed in most markers will be 13 and 9/16 inches. The exposed barrel measures 7 and 9/16 inches. The new Apex 2 tip design covers the barrel porting.
